VSV treatment induces a functional antitumor CTL response.

To evaluate the local and systemie T celi activation induced by VSV oncolytic therapy, we compared the activation status of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells found in the tumor and spleen. Based on L-selectin (CD62L) and CD44 expression, we found no difference in the activation status of CD4⁺ T cells between treated and non-treated animals (data not shown) correlating with the weak CD4⁺ T celi infiltration observed (Fig. 2b).
