For maximum rcliability. it will bc necessary to have at least one milliamp of signal current under the worst line-loading conditions. If this can bc met. tum off all the applianccs and lcave the “Sensitivity” control set for a max-imum reading of 2 milliamperes for bcst operation without overloading the transistors.

The relay contacts can be connected to either turn on or turn ofT the con-trolled device upon receipl of the signal. The contacts will safely handle a 250-watt load. but if much heavier equipment is to be controlled the relay contacts can operatc a heavier relay to control the gear.

Use the “Carricr Switch” to cut off the TV or radio speaker whcn you want some quict around the house. turn on your TV from the armehair. or start a pump out in the barn whcn ifs too cold to go outside.
