•    Course description: ): The course includesalecture and design classes. It starts with the

recollection of the basie defonotions and notions dealt with in Air pollution Control Engonnering This is followed by the charakterization of Polish Ambient Air Quality Standards, with emphasis on some of the pollution sources and on the standard model for computing the diffusion of pollutants from a point emitter. The main part of the lecture concentrates on the models describing the diffusion of airbome pollutants that come from linear and surface sources. The lecture terminates with the outline of basie information on some other computational models describing pollutants dispersion. The design classes includecomputer simulations of air pollution levels, as well as their graphical prezentation.
