Course description_

It is the aim of course the getting to know about bases of design and production of traditional and advanced ceramic materials, also glass, cements and composite materials on the basis of the minerał binders. Determination of utility proprieties of these materials in connection with techniąues production their Chemical and minerał constitution, as well as structure and microstructure.

2.	The preparation of compositions of ceramic bodies for a different technique forming	2
3.	The producing the experimental samples by casting slurry, plastic forming and pressing of powders (forming, drying, sintering, glazing)	6
4.	The evaluation of physical and mechanical proprieties the ceramic specimens in the course of their production (shrinkage, density, porosity, absorbability, structure and microstructure, compression and bending strength of green and sintered materials).	6
