• Aims of the course (effects of the course): It develops an understanding of relationship between the group theory, molecular structure bonding and spectroscopic properties of inorganic molecules. It creates opportunities to develop skills for independent leaming in the field of inorganic, organometallic and bioinorganic chemistry.

• Course description: The lecture will give a comprehensive summary of advanced aspects of various fields of modem inorganic chemistry. The course involves the study of symmetry and group theory, the structure, bonding and reactivity of molecules, complexes with metal ions and molecular clusters. Selected topics concerning recent developments in inorganic, organometallic and bioinorganic chemistry will be presented.
