•    Course description: Course description: Strength of Materials I is concerned with the analysis of stress and strain in member-like components loaded elastically. Structural integrity of a component is judged by its resistance to buckling or materiał yielding. Strength design principles involve both simple and combined modes of loading as well as effects of time and environment. Specific needs of the AiR speciality will be addressed by example problems.
