• Aims of the course (effects of the course): The aim of the course is instruct students of biochemical aspects of bacterial adaptation in various ecosystems and relationships that exist among microbes, plants and animals.

• Course description: The course presents information on various interactions that can occur between microbes and multicellular organisms. Special attention has been given to the virulence factors of bacteria and resistance mechanisms to antibiotics.
