5HEW0RKED AS AN ONCOLOGY NUR5E AT A CHILDREtfS HOSPITAL Many tlmes we heard from her when there was a Irttle one who espedally needed to be covered in prayer. Two, maybe three, times a week she would cali. She always madę the ca lis joyful, almost as if she knew God was already answering. She believes in prayer. She didn't always attend church but tuned In falthfulły to herfavourlte Christian statlon. Through her own personal struggles, Voice of Adventist Radio (VOAR) has been, and still is, a sourceof hope.
She Is a donor. She never lets a Sharathon go by wlthout
sending in her grft. This year it came with a request to set aside a Day Sponsorshlp ln memory of her mother, who recently passed away. She wanted us to cali her to discuss the message she would like aired in her monfs memory. We calledt we prayed; and we crłed together over the phone. WeVe known her for over 25 years. Today she is the sole careghrer for her iii sister.
As she went through various trials, we have seen her hołd others up, and we have also seen her struggllng. She is thankful that the Lord Is holding her dose, even when she has moments of doubŁ She knows the Lord uses struggles to teach us to depend on Hlm. She Is a chlld of the King. She Is one of the ones Hedied for. Shethanked usfor reminding her of that She holds on to the hope of Christ she hears about through VOAR. As bełievers, we are"'strangers in a strangę land.” But we are also something morę; we are missionaries with a message to share. A message that lets her know that she can face every drcumstance
with complete confidence, not ln ourselyeS/ but in God, who is capabie.
She#s a caller... we cali friend. ■
