Every year around Valentme's Day łhe Rich ards I łigh School Girls Club has a Turnabout Dance. Turnabout is one of the three dances held at Richards throughout the school year. This dance is when the girl asks the guy to the dance and pays lor everything. even the din* ner. This year s Turnabout was held on Satur-day. February 25. 1989. The dance started at 7:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m. The theme for the dance was "Make It Last For-ever. sung by Keith Sweet. The colors of the dance were purple and silver. The Girls Club did a very nice |ob on the cafeteria decora tions. The Girls Club had the D.J. from radio station WKKC. The D.J. played house musie throughout the mght with a little bit of the top forty. Vic Beatty Studio was also there takmg pictures of couples that wanted memones of this dance. Many people dressed lancy Tur nabout was the other fancy dance besides Prom. Not many people showed up. but those who did enioyed themselves.
