Compare an image and a map co-ordinate system (give a figure with comment)

The image coordinate system consists of:
1. Two perpendicular axes representing the row and the column direction.
2. The units are row number and column-number respectively.
3. The origin is row-number 1 and column-number 1.
The map co-ordinate system consists of:
1. Two perpendicular axes representing the X and the Y coordinate.
2. The units are (most often) metres.
3. The origin is X = 0 and Y = 0
