EXT. BUS - AFTERNOON
WE SEE A BUS DRIVING DOWN A ROAD TOWARDS US. IT MOVES SLOWLY
AS WE SEE THE TINTED WINDOWS LINING THE BUS.
THROUGH THE
WINDOWS WE SEE FIGURES SITTING, AS THE BUS SHIFTS AND BUMPS
DOWN THE ROAD.
INT. BUS - SAME
We are in the back of the bus, the people are women. There
is a stillness to them. Back and forth we see their lifeless
faces.
CUT TO:
We see the drivers head; with wild hair that seems to jump
in a number of different directions.
CUT TO:
We travel down the row, seeing a flicker of red.
A piece of
red fabric is being played around with by an open window.
SFX: soft breathing.
In the back seat we see a red cloth covering JEWELS face.
POV: UNDER THE CLOTH WE SEE BITS AND PIECES OF THE WORLD
OUTSIDE. WE SEE HER LOOK DOWN AT ARMS THAT BEEN TIED
TOGETHER.
JEWELS
No...No...No...
(Soft and full of distress)
CUT TO: THE BUS SPEEDS BY FROM LEFT TO RIGHT OF THE
SCREEN.
AT THE END OF THE BUS WE SEE AN OPEN WINDOW, WITH
THE PIECE OF RED CLOTH FLOATING IN THE AIR.
JEWELS
NO!...NO!
(The volume of the NO’s grow louder, with more demanded at
the end of them)
INT. JEWELS HOME - MORNING
CUT TO:
We see Jewels a young attractive business women; she is in
her early 30’s. From the hallway we see her move from room
to room; getting things together for the day.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:

She occasionally stops in the entrance of a room, to yell at
her daughter JESSE sleeping.
JEWELS
NO! You got to get up-
...you can’t just lie in bed like
this-
Jewels continues to push her daughter to get ready. Every
once in awhile coming to the room to yell at her again.
...No you can’t bring that, put it
down and put on your shoes...
-Now Jesse!
CUT TO:
Jewels and Jesse are walking towards the door, as Jewels
opens the door and shuts it.
EXT.
JEWELS HOME - SAME
Jewels shuts the door behind her as she heads to the
driveway. Jewels is holding JESSES hand, moving right for
the street.
Jewels and Jesse stand for a moment to have Jewels look at
her phone for the time.
JEWELS
Any minute now...
Looks down at Jesse
Are you doing anything special
today in class?
JESSE
I don’t know.
JEWELS
Well, check your schedule-
Little Jesse takes down her bag, unzipping it looking for
the schedule.
JESSE
I don’t have it.(Acts confused)
JEWELS
What? Don’t you need that?
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:

JESSE
I think I forgot it in my room
Jesse places the back pack on again.
JEWELS
Ugh (Sigh of disappointment) Okay,
I’ll go get it, you just stay
here.
Make sure you tell TED I am
coming right out, because you
forgot something.
JESSE
Okay.
INT. JEWELS HOUSE - SAME
WE FOLLOW JEWELS AS SHE ENTER INSIDE PROCEEDING TOWARDS
JESSE’S ROOM.
We see Jewels looking through the room searching for the
schedule.
CUT TO:
EXT. JEWELS HOUSE - SAME
Jesse has become exhausted holding up her bag. She offloads
the bag from her shoulders on to the ground.
CUT TO:
EXT. INTERSECTION - SAME
We see a stop sign
SFX: Screeching of tires.
CUT TO:
INT. JEWELS HOUSE - SAME
Jewels continue the search.
CUT TO:
EXT. JEWELS HOUSE - SAME
Jesse is hmming, and kicking gravel to seeing how far it can
go.
CUT TO:
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:

INT. JEWELS HOUSE - SAME
Jewels comes to the point where she doesn’t know where to
look anymore. Throwing her head up, she sees that the
schedule was tied to a RED balloon with a piece of string.
She shakes her head...
EXT. DOWN THE STREET - SAME
The bus has turned sharply around the stop sign, and is
heading towards Jewels home.
EXT. JEWEL’S HOUSE - SAME
Jewels exits the house, with the Balloon tied schedule in
hand. She walks toward the end of the drive way. As she
approaches where her daughter is, she stops seeing that the
bus is coming.
P.O.V:
THE BUS SLOWS DOWN, DRIVING RIGHT TO LEFT, PASSING THE
HOUSE. WE SEE THAT IT IS THE BUS WITH THE TINTED WINDOWS.
Jewels looks at the bus as it drives Away.
POV:
WE SEE HER HOLDING THE BALLOON IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR.
JEWELS
I guess that wasn’t your bus.
With the balloon she walks towards her daughter placing it
in front of her face.
Did you do this?
JESSE
ha ha ha (uncontrollable)
Jewels laughs slightly, as she is interrupted by another bus
driving up. The bus parks, and opens the doors.
She rips the schedule off the balloon and gives it to her
daughter.
Jewels walks Jesse up to the door.
Jesse walks down the row of seats.
JEWELS
See you when you get home--
(Yelling at Jesse as she walks down the row.)

CONTINUED:

She turns to the driver.
--Ted, I might be a little bit late
getting home, so could drop her off
last?
TED
Not a problem Jewels
JEWELS
You’re a Life Saver Ted, Thanks!
INT. MAIN OFFICE - LATER MORNING
Jewels arrives to work, opening the glass door to enter.
IN THE REFLECTION OF THE WINDOW WE SEE THE BUS PARKED ON THE
SIDE OF THE STREET.
Jewels barrels inside; cell phone rings. She immediately
answers it.
JEWELS
Yes, send it. No, I want to wait on
that. Well cause, if you do! we’re
going to have a problem, BECAUSE
the investors won’t have all the
information.
Arrives at the receptionist desk to sign some papers.
We still need to add more to it.
So, okay, send out the first one,
and then hold onto the other...
...Well just until I can look at
it.
Okay gotta go, thanks Ollie. Bye-
She clicks off the phone.
Thanks (to the receptionist)
Walks towards her office door.
THE PHONE IN HER HAND, PLACING IT IN HER POCKET.
INT. JEWELS OFFICE - SAME
There are Piles of papers stacked up on her desk.
She gives
off a sigh.
MONTAGE OF THE DAY, SPED UP AS TIME LAPSE.
(ANY TIME WE ARE
BY A WINDOW, LOOKING INTO THE STREET WE WILL SEE THE BUS AS
A PERMIT STRUCTURE THROUGH OUT THE DAY.)

MONTAGE:
-We see her working at her desk.
-On the phone.
-In the board meeting giving instructions.
-Yelling at people in her office.
-Speeding through the office.
-Making a run to the break room for coffee.
-Filling out papers as the window above turns darker.
-Jewels finishes up placing all the papers in the out bin.
Looking at her watch, she turns off the computer.
She walks with a stack of papers out of her office.
She walks to the main entrance, opening the door.
IN THE REFLECTION IN THE WINDOW REVEALS NO BUS.
EXT. PARKING LOT - NIGHT
She walks to her car. As she gets to her car door, she
readjusts the stack of papers to get to her keys in her
pocket.
THE CAMERA MOVES IN BEHIND HER QUICKLY.
We see her knocked to the ground.
We see the driver standing above her, with a pipe in his
hand. There is a street light above him, making a silhouette
of the man.
We see the folders and papers on the ground. The bus drives,
passing the papers causing them to follow the gust of wind
created by the bus.
FADES TO BLACK
INT. BUS - LATE MORNING
We slowly fade in, as we hear the sounds of the creaks and
shuffling of the school bus.
JEWELS EYE OPENS WIDE.
POV:
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:

All around is red, with the light amplifying the colors.
A RED CLOTH DRAPED OVER HER FACE.
Jewels tries to move snagging her wrist on the seat, causing
her to give out a moan.
A FOOT HITS THE BRAKE
The bus stops sharply.
SFX: Foot steps and crunching of decayed bones. The sounds
move closer.
POV:
The figure approaches.
The Driver grabs at her, shifting her to the left. During
the move the cloth reveals one of the bodies lying in one of
the seats.
Her eyes double blink as she is about to faint.
He places her on a wood chair, in between the row of seats
by the back of the emergency door.
Reaching over her body, he pulls the latch on the emergency
door.
POV:
The screen slowly goes black.
SFX: The foot steps drift towards the front of the bus.
INT. BUS - LATER THAT DAY
We stand in the dark for a while. Waking up and regains her
consciousness, the light fades in slowly.
SFX: Idling motor.
We see the rope tied off around her waist. We begin to
follow the rope, showing bodies on the ground. Hands of
victims are reaching downward; from the seats above. We stop
at the other end of the rope, it is tied to the handle of
the bus door. The rope is the perfect length to be tied.
We see her in the mirror above the driver.
Her head drifts to each side.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:
8.
We see her eyes under the cloth, looking straight and then
downwards at the rope. We move down to her mouth, as she
gives out a gasp.
DRIVER’S FOOT SLAMS ON THE GAS.
Jewel’s realizes quickly that she is hanging out of the back
of the bus. The emergency exit door is wide open.
The rope
that was on the floor has tightened, and now is straight up
in the air. The chair moves out the door.
The man holds up a sharp knife straight up in the air.
Swooping down at the rope, slicing it, causes the rope to
give out, and her to fall out the door.
EXT. FOREST - AFTERNOON
She hits the road hard and even though she rolls around a
little bit, the chair by some magic hits upright again.
The bus driver angrily shifts Gears.
The driver backs up the bus, pushing her down with the back
end.
She hits the ground, as the bus covers her with a shadow.
She is now under the bus. She screams.
The driver shifts gears, moving slowly forward as her face
emerges from the shadow.
He stops and we see her face trying to see the bus.
He squeals his tires spraining gravel at her.
We see her reacting to the gravel.
The bus moves down the road.
She struggles a great deal to take off the clothe. She
finally pulls it off, we see her gasping for air.
We see the sun above.
SFX: Her screams.
MONTAGE:
We see different spots in the forest.
- A large tree.
- A river.
