4 Possible answer

At 11 p.m., a tall man with

black hair broke into a blue

van in Liverpool and then

drove away.

Half an hour later, two

bald men carried an old

television out of a house

and waited for the man

with black hair. When he

arrived, they put the TV in

the van and drove towards

Manchester.

The three men arrived at an

art gallery in the centre of

Manchester at 1 a.m. They

used the television to break

a window at the back of

the gallery. The man with

black hair waited outside.

Meanwhile, the other two

men climbed in through the

window.

Half an hour later, the two

men inside the gallery

passed twelve paintings

through the window to the

man outside. While he was

putting the paintings into

the van, the other two came

out of the gallery. After that,

they all got into the van and

drove away very fast.

The owner of the gallery

arrived for work as usual at

nine o’clock in the morning.

She found that some of the

best and most expensive

paintings weren’t there and

then she telephoned the

police.
