T introduces some vocabulary from the task. Asks ss to read ex 4, p. 74; T plays the recording and then checks the answers with students

Speaking

T by using colorful pieces of paper puts ss into pairs. T asks ss to read instructions to the speaking task and elicits from ss vocabulary they may need. Then T gives a few minutes for ss to prepare and asks some pairs randomly

Some ss may confuse tenses; T may have to prompt them which tenses are appropriate; Ss may get stuck in some moment; T may have to prompt them or asks the rest of the ss for help

Writing

T asks ss to read the instructions to the writing task. Ss have to write an informal letter. T elicits from ss what they have to mention in the letter and what are typical features of the informal letter. Then T asks ss to write the letter according to given instructions
