MUST (musieć, muszę)
- formy tej używamy, aby wyrazić konieczność, przymus który dyktowany jest z wewnątrz: I must do it for her.
- używamy Must kiedy jesteśmy pewni, że coś jest prawdziwe.
You have been working all day. You must be tired. Pracowałeś cały dzień. Na pewno jesteś zmęczony.
HAVE TO (musieć)
- Ten czasownik modalny wyraża konieczność narzuconą z zewnątrz (You have to do your homework every day.).
- Pomimo tego, zastępuje on must w przeczeniach, oraz w pytaniach w czasie przeszłym prostym i przyszłym:
You don't have to write it again.
Did you have to tell it to him?
