I am going to write about my favourite relative: my uncle Henry. He's a farmer and we don't see him often because he lives in another village. I really enjoy when he comes to stay with us or we go to visit him.

He's in his early 40s. He wears glasses, he's medium height and he likes good food. As a result he's a little overweight. His hair is long and fair. I think he is trying to look like a 60s rock singer. His main hobby is trekking, he usually goes hiking to the Pirinees o Montsant with his friends. Sometimes I go with them.

Uncle Henry is an amusing an friendly man. He loves telling jokes and laughing. In fact he never stops talking. My mother, his sister, thinks he talks too much, but I am quite happy to listen to him.

Jacques has been my close friend for two years. I first met him on a school exchange trip to Calais, France. I asked him the way to the library and we started talking. We've been friends ever since.

Jacques is quite good-looking. He's tall and slim, with olive skin and curly dark hair. Like many French people, he has a great sense of style, so he always looks well-dressed even in casual clothes.

Jacques is very outgoing. He is always friendly and loves to have fun. He's got a fantastic sense of humour and he always makes me laugh. However, he can be a bit immature at times. For example, when he doesn't get what he wants, he acts childishly and stamps his feet.

Jacques is very keen on water sports. He likes sailing and he spends a lot of time on his boat. He enjoys scuba diving, too, and loves exploring life under sea.

All in all, I'm glad to have Hacques as my friend. It's a pleasure to be with him and I really enhoy his company. I'm sure we'll always be close friends.

He has got a litlle scar on his cheek from an accident he had when he was a child. He wears glasses and has got a beard. He isn’t very smart and tends to wear shabby clothes.

CLARA

Clara, has been my neighbour for five years. I first met her when she knocked on my door and asked for a spade because she hadn’t yet unpacked hers. She had only moved in two days before.

Physically, Clara looks younger than most other women in their late sixties. She is of average height, neither fat nor thin. Her plump round face is framed by a mass of wavy white hair and her sparkling blue eyes show her humour and friendliness. She prefers wearing casual, comfortable clothes.

As for her personality, Clara’s most striking characteristic is her generosity. My house nearly always has a vase of flowers from her garden. Clara is very good - natured and always has time for chat. She is also patient. She hardly ever gets annoyed about anything. However, she tends to be quite stubborn - once she had made a decision, nothing can change her mind.

Clara always seems to be busy doing something. She spends a lot of her time looking after her garden.

All in all, Clara is a perfect next - door neighbour. Since the day she moved in, we have grown very close and I am very fond of her, even if I am woken up by the noise of her lawnmower early in the morning!
