MATERIALS
1 skein of Bright Purple yarn for hair, 1 skein Flesh Color yarn for face and body, 1 skein of Orange for
dress, 1 skein of White for dress and leggings, 1 skein of Black also for leggings, 1 skein of Red for gloves
and bows, and 1 skein of Hot Pink for boots. Any brand of yarn will do as long as they're all the same
weight.
Doll: Size 3.5 mm (U.S. E or 4) crochet hook. Stuffing. 2 large black buttons for eyes I used 23 mm. Small
amount of black yarn or thick thread for mouth. Small amount of black ribbon for eyelashes. Some Pink
ribbon to tie bow at back. 2 small peices of pink felt for cheeks. 3 or 4 small white buttons for blouse,
and a small pink star gem for beauty mark (if desired).
Dress and Panties: Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook.
INSTRUCTIONS
DOLL
HEAD: With Hair colour, ch 2.
1st rnd: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 16 sc.
3rd rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. 24 sc.
4th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. 32 sc.
5th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. 40 sc.
6th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Rep from * around. 48 sc.
7th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Rep from * around. 56 sc.

I usually sew eyes on now, while I still have access to both sides of the fabric.

Sew bottom edge of Body closed with a whip stitch. Stuff Body.
ARMS (make 2): With Flesh Color, ch 2.
1st rnd: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 10 sc. Join Red.
3rd rnd: With Red, 1 sc in each sc around.
4th rnd: 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Join Flesh Color in 4th sc. With Flesh Color, 1 tr in 5th sc (thumb).
Join Red in 6th sc and sc to end of rnd. 10 sc.
5th rnd: 1 sc in each st around.
6th rnd: (Dec over next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc) twice. 8 sts.
7th rnd: 1 sc in each st around.
Rep last rnd until Arm from beg measures 3.5 ins. Switch back to Flesh Color and sc each st around
until arm measures 4.5 ins. Fasten off. Stuff Arms lightly.
LEGS (make 2): With Hot Pink and smaller hook, ch 5.
1st rnd: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 3 sc in last ch. Do not turn. Working in rem
loops of foundation ch, 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 2 sc in last ch. 10 sc.
2nd rnd: 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in each of next 3 sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in
each of last 2 sc. 16 sc.
3rd rnd: 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in each of next 4 sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in

Rep last rnd until Leg from bottom of boot measures 3 ins. Break Pink yarn and join Black to first sc of
next rnd. Sc around for 2 rnds. Break Black yarn and join White to first sc of next rnd. Sc around for 2
rnds. Continue alternating Black and White stripes until leg from bottom of boot measures 5.5 ins.
Fasten off. Stuff Legs. Sew top of Legs closed using whip st. Sew to bottom of Body. Attach Arms to
sides of Body and body to head.
HAIR:
I have worked several chains of 35 stitches and than worked 1 tr into each chain. Attatch 8-10 curls
(depending on the fullness you desire) to each side of head, by pulling loose ends of curl through the
scalp and tying a square knot. Hide ends/knots in head. Now your doll will start looking more like
LalaLoopsy and less like an alien! High Five!
BOW: With Red and smaller hook, Ch 10.
1st rnd: Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in each of next 7 ch(s). 3 sc in last ch. Continuing around to other side
of foundation chain, 1 sc in each of next 7 ch(s). 3 sc in last ch. 21 st(s).
2nd rnd: 3 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 7 sc. 3 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. 3 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each
of next 8 sc. 3 sc in next sc. 1 sc in last sc. 29 sc(s).

Wrap tail around middle of bow many times, pulling firmly to get the correct shape. Fasten off at back
by tying begining and ending tails together.
DRESS:
Note: Dress is worked from top down.
With White and larger hook chain 24. Join with sl st to first ch.
1st-9th rnds: 1 sc in each ch around. Join Pink with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
10th rnd: With Pink, 1 sc in each sc around. Join Orange with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
11th rnd: With Orange, Ch 3 (counts as dc). Working in back loops only, 1 dc in same st as last sc. *2 dc
in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first dc. 48 dc.
12th rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each dc around. Join with sl st to first dc. 48 dc.
13th rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. *2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join with
sl st to first dc. 96 dc.
14th-15th rnds: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each dc around. Join with sl st to first dc. 96 dc.
16th rnd: Ch 3 (counts and dc). 1 dc in same st as last sc. *2 dc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl

SLEEVES:
With White and larger hook, ch 12. Join with sl st to first ch.
1st rnd: 1 sc in each ch around. 12 sc.
2nd rnd: 4 sc, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 3 sc. 12 st(s).
3rd rnd: 4 sl st, 2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc, 3 sl st. 12 st(s). FO.
Try dress and sleeves on doll. Attach each sleeve to dress by whip stitching bottom 4 stitches of sleeves
to 4 stitches on the top edge of dress directly below arms.
With White and smaller hook, join with sl st to any unworked Ch on the top of dress. Sc in each
unworked ch of top of dress. When you reach a sleeve, just sl st in all unworked stitches of sleeve and
then continue Sc across unworked Ch(s) of top of dress. FO and weave in any loose ends.
PANTIES: With White and larger hook, ch 14. Join with sl st to first ch. Ch 14. Join with sl st to same ch as
last sl st.
1st-5th rnds: 1 Sc in each sc around.
6th rnd: *1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Dec. Repeat from * around. Join Orange with sl st to first sc in rnd 7.
7th rnd: With Orange (Sl st. {this is your join. Ch 3. 1 dc) in first sc. *Miss next sc. (Sl st. Ch 3. 1 dc.) in
next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to same sp as first sl st. Fasten off.
Leg opening edging: With Larger hook, join Orange with sl st to any remaining loop of foundation ch. (Ch
3. 1 Dc.) in first sc. * Miss next sc. (Sl st. Ch 3. 1 Dc.) in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to
same sp as first sl st. Fasten off.
FINISHING: Cut 2 circles out of pink felt. Sew or hot glue to cheeks. Cut 2 small pieces of black ribbon
(approximately 1 inch long) and cut a V in 1 end. I apply a small amount of clear nail polish to this end to
keep ribbon from fraying. When it's dry, hot glue peice under button eye (just above middle of eye). Sew
mouth using black yarn or thick black thread. Hot glue a small pink star gem for her beauty mark. Sew 3
or 4 white buttons to front of blouse. Tie a bow with pink ribbon at the back of her waist (I use just a few
dabs of hot glue to hold it in place). Attatch Red yarn to any stitch at top of boot. *Ch.3. Sl st in next sc.
Repeat from * around. If desired, using red yarn sew lines in boots for shoe laces as shown in the
picture. Attach a Red bow in front of each pony tail.
