Sneak Preview and On Demand!

Registration is your virtual ticket not only to the event, but also to a limited sneak preview day on Tuesday, February 25, and a

1-week on-demand period February 27 through March 5.

At the sneak preview, you’ll be able to familiarize yourself with the show environment and download informational materials ahead of

time.

The on-demand period lets you come back to the show at your leisure to collect the materials you gathered or review presentations and

other information. Plus, if you know you won’t be available on event day, register anyway to attend the show during the on-demand

period.

Chat-with-recruiter functionality will only be available on event day.

On entering the environment, a system check is run which will identify computer requirements that need to be addressed to

interact with the online environment. It is recommended to view the environment with the display resolution of 1280 x 768. To run

the system check, click here.

Before you access the environment, you should ensure that your browser is configured to stream media. All webcasts require a

broadband connection. For webcasts including video, you will need a minimum Internet connection of 450Kbps. INXPO

Show Profile

Filling out your profile completely and accurately will help you while networking with recruiters.

You can edit your profile at any time by clicking “Profile” on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

You can enhance your show

profile by adding a personal bio

about yourself and uploading your

resume for recruiters to view.
When setting up your profile, you

can also click “Edit Photo” to

choose an image for the show.

You may select from a list of

avatar images, or you can upload

your own photo.

Hint: Completing your profile during the Sneak Preview (Feb. 25, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Eastern)
will save you time on event day.

Lobby

After logging into the show, you will be taken to the show’s Lobby (home). The welcome video will

play upon your arrival. The Lobby offers two main links: one to view presentations in the Auditorium

and the other to jump directly to the Exhibit Halls where you will find all of the agencies’ booths.

You can return to the Lobby by clicking “Home” on the toolbar at the top of the screen or the home

icon at the bottom of the screen. Because the show’s main navigation is positioned at the top of every

screen, there is no real need to return to the Lobby unless you want to re-watch the welcome video.

Exhibit Hall

The Exhibit Halls menu in the top navigation includes the agency booths.

All of the agency booths feature a left-hand navigation pane with links that display informational

materials, job vacancy announcements, how to apply instructions, and more. There are two icons

next to each filename:

Click the magnifying glass icon to open/view the file.

Click the briefcase icon to save the file to your briefcase.

Attendees can also chat with each other and recruiters in each booth’s group chat room. Click the

“Group Chat” link at the bottom of the left-hand navigation pane to connect. Attendees and staff

members will have separate chat text styles so that participants can easily identify the difference.

Auditorium

The Auditorium will feature multiple pre-recorded and live presentations. Click on the presentation’s

title to view detailed information about the speaker and the presentation. Next, click the “View Now”

button to launch the presentation in a new window.

To access the Auditorium, click on the “View Presentations” link in the Lobby or select

“Auditorium” from the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Lounge

The Lounge is another great place to communicate with other show attendees. The Lounge features a

group chat, where attendees and recruiters can talk about the show, network, or simply chat while

taking a break from the Exhibit Halls. Attendees and staff members will have separate chat text styles

so that participants can easily identify the difference.

You can access the Lounge at any time by clicking “Lounge” on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

while you are waiting to chat with recruiters.

Resources and Briefcase

The Resources tab in the top navigation bar allows you to see all of the show’s documents, links, etc.,

in one place. You can sort by agency and filter by topic. If you are interested in a file, you can view it

or place it in your briefcase for later download. You can access your briefcase by clicking on the

briefcase icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Communication Center

To access show communication tools, click the envelope icon at the bottom of your screen. It will

open your Communication Center in a new window. There are four main areas of the Communication

Center: Messages, Chat, vCards and Connections.

Messages: Access your in-show e-mail by

clicking the envelope icon at the top of the

Communication Center. You can view your

inbox and sent messages, start a new

message, and download messages.
Chat: Access your chat dashboard by clicking

the speaking bubble icon at the top of the

Communication Center. You can view

pending, missed, and previous chats, as well

as start new chats from this console.
vCards: Access your vCard dashboard by

clicking the business card icon at the top of

the Communication Center. You can view

collected cards and cards you’ve sent, send a

card, and export all.
Connections: Access your connections

dashboard by clicking on the chain link icon

at the top of the Communication Center. You

can request a connection, as well as view

established connections, requests for

connection, and a listing of requests you’ve

ignored.

Communication Notification

If you receive an e-mail, vCard, chat request, connection, or announcement, you will be notified via a

communication bubble that will display in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. By clicking on

the communication notification, you will be taken to the indicated item. If you wish to close out the

notification, click on the X as seen in the image below.

Chat Request: If you receive a chat request, you will be

able to accept or decline the request. You may also send a

short message to the chat requester when declining a chat.

E-mail: The notification will display that you have an

unread e-mail. Click on the notification window to view.

vCard: The notification will display that you have a new

vCard. Click on the notification window to view.

Connection: The notification will display that you have a

new connection. You can click on Accept or Ignore directly

from the request window.

Announcement: The notification will display that you have

a new announcement. Click on the notification window to

view or dismiss.

Join to Chat

If you are involved in a private chat with a recruiter or

another attendee, you can invite others to join your chat.

Click on the “Invite” button at the bottom of the chat box.

Find the person you want to invite by typing his or her

name in the User Finder and clicking “Search.”

When the user’s name appears, click on it to invite him or

her into your chat session.

The person will be joined to your chat once he or she

accepts the invitation.

Search

You can use the search feature to find people, booths, and documents within the show. In the search

field, type your search criteria and click the magnifying glass icon.
