Fuse/relay panel, removing/installing (Page 97-24-1)
The fuse/relay panel is located underneath the left side of the instrument panel.
Removing
remove lower instrument panel trim, see
Repair Group 70
spread retaining clips 1 and disengage lock pins 2 from brackets 4
swing retaining clips 1 forward and puff from fuse/relay panel pins 3
spread left retaining bracket 4 and disengage from pin 5
lift fuse/relay panel from brackets 4
remove multi-point connectors from back of fuse/relay panel and remove fuse/relay
panel
Installing
install in reverse order of removal making sure pin 5 and retaining pins 2 engage
proper recesses in brackets 4

Removing
pull open locking slide 1 on back of fuse/relay panel in direction indicated (arrow)
depress locking clip (arrow) and pull multi-point connector from fuse/relay panel
Installing
insert connector so that locking pins 2 face locking slide 1
push multi-point connector into appropriate location 4 until locking clip 3 engages
push locking slide 1 in direction indicated (arrow) until locked
Note
Fully insert all multi-point connectors into the fuse/relay panel before engaging locking slide 1.
