Crochet Basic Doll Jeans

Materials:

­Soft worsted weight yarn (Caron Simply Soft, Red Heart Soft, or Bernat Satin)
­Size F crochet hook

­Elastic ponytail holder to fit snuggly around dolls waist

Gauge:  4sc = 1 inch

Work from waistband down

1. Work 24 sc around elastic ponytail holder, ch1, turn.  Do not join.
2. Sc in each sc around, ch1, turn.  Do not join.

3. (Sc in next five sc, two sc in next) around, join, ch1, do not turn.  28 sc
4­7: Sc in each sc around, join, ch4, do not turn.

Dividing row for legs
8. Skip first 14 sc, join with sl st in next sc, ch1, sc in same st and each remaining sc around, sc in ch4 

stitches between legs, join to first sc, ch1, do not turn.  18 sc
9. Sc in ea sc around, join, ch1, do not turn.  18 sc

10­14. Sc in each sc around, join, ch1, do not turn.  18 sc
15. Increase three sc evenly around, join, ch1, do not turn.  21 sc

16. Sc in ea sc around, join, ch1, do not turn.
17. Repeat row 15.  24sc

18.  Repeat row 16.  24 sc
19. Repeat row 16.  24 sc

20.  Sc, ch1 in each sc around,  finish off.

Attach yarn for second leg and repeat.
