We offer one of the most perfect models
of a space shuttle that can be built from
paper. Its development and production
took almost 6 months. Aside of the
maquette of the spacecraft, which is
designed into very detail including the
cockpit, ejectable landing gear,
moveable rudder and braking elevons, it
also contains a perfect model of
Magellan planetary probe in the
stowage. We have produced the cutout
as a commemoration of the tenth
anniversary of the STS 30 flight. Aside
of the cutout itself you will also find a
description of development of a space
shuttle as a modern conveyance, of the
STS 30 mission, introduction of the five
astronauts, commentary of an
eyewitness of the spacecraft's start, the
mission and fight of Magellan probe to
Venus, and a description of planet
Venus itself. Furthermore, there are all
Atlantis flights until 1st June '99 and
their brief description including the
names of the crew.
The whole publication is complemented
with a painted poster of the starting
Atlantis space shuttle. Furthermore,
there are many photographs of the
space shuttle from mounting through
the start to the flight on the orbit.
Everything is complemented by a lot of
photographs of the model itself.
Therefore it is possible to compare the
perfect resemblance of the model to the
original.
