Subject: Mazda Engine LPG Carburetor Conversion
Mazda powered units equipped with the Model CA-50 LPG carburetor P/N 377160 may experience wear of
the fuel metering valve and its orifice in certain applications. This wear can cause increased fuel consumption
and higher emission levels. Carburetor fuel adjustments may be inadequate to control the fuel ratio.
An alternative carburetor is now available through the Parts Depot. This carburetor is an IMPCO Model
CA-100 that incorporates a diaphragm operated fuel metering valve rather than the sliding piston type fuel
metering valve in the CA-50 carburetor.
To obtain the CA-100 carburetor, order kit P/N 1343212. This kit contains all the necessary parts and instruc-
tions to convert from the Model CA-50 IMPCO to the Model CA-100 carburetor.
