Adductor Hallucis
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Patient position: prone with the knee
flexed.
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
base of the proximal phalange of the
great toe.
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.
Dorsiflex the ankle and great toe and
distract medially to increase tissue
tension.
Apply the 1st tail along the medial
border of the 1st metatarsal.
Apply the 2nd tail to the base of the
2nd metatarsal.
Apply the 3rd tail to the head of the
4th metatarsal.

Apply the 4th tail to the head of the
5th metatarsal to enclose the plantar
transverse ligament with the tape.
