Koloseum w Rzymie zostało wzniesione w latach 70 - 80 n.e. przez cesarzy z dynastii Flawiuszów. Budowla służyła jako amfiteatr, gdzie odbywały się walki gladiatorów. Obiekt mieścił 50.000 miejsc do których prowadziło aż 80 wejść. W 528 roku odbyły się tu ostatnie igrzyska, a w 2007 roku obiekt został wybrany jednym z siedmiu cudów świata.

The Coliseum in Rome was built in 70-80 years by emperors from the dynasty Flawiuszów. The building was used as the amphitheatre, where gladiator fights took place. The object held 50000 places to which it led as many as 80 entries. In 528 year here the last Olympics were held, and in 2007 the object was chosen with one of seven miracles of world.
