A total of 40 g Doppio Ritorto 8/3 = 5 yarn subdivided in 30 g of each of the following colours : White N° 02 and 10 g Pink N° 03

100 cms of pink satin ribbon - height 5 mm

Crochet hook N° 2.00

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

With the pink yarn, cast on a chain of 18 sts. and, as from second chain on hook, work 1 dc in each chain, 3 dcs in the last chain, turn over work and cont. in dc even on the other side of the starting chain; work 3 dcs in the last chain and end this row and next rows with 1 starting sc. After 6 rows work another 2 rows without increasing then continue as follows:

Row 9, 10, 11 and 12: work in half treble decreasing 2 sts at the centre of a tip (= front).

Rows 13, 14, 15 and 16: work in half treble in same way.

Row 17: stand off work over the 7 centre sts at the front and cont. back and forth working * 3 trs, 2 chs, skip 2 sts. *, rep. from * to *, 3 trs

Row 18: 1 dc in each tr, 2 trs in each space of 2 chs

Row 19: * 2 trs in the next dc., 1 ch., skip 1 st. *, rep. from * to *, 2 trs in the last stitch

Rows 20, 21 and 22: * 2 trs at the centre of the next 2 trs, 1 ch *, rep. from * to *, 2 trs at the centre of the last 2 trs

Row 23: (White yarn) * between the 2 trs work 1 dc, 1 ch., 1 bobble and 1 dc; 1 dc in next ch *, rep. from * to * even along the edges of the front opening, but along the base of the opening (over the 7 centre sts) work * 1 dc, 3 chs., skip 2 sts *, rep. from * to *.

Break off and bind the yarn.

Tea Rose: with the White yarn cast on a chain of 6 sts, closing with a sc loop in the first chain and, in the loop obtained, work: (1 dc, 3 trs) 5 times; break off and bind the yarn.

MAKING UP AND FINISH

Sew on the Tea Rose at the centre of the front. Cut the satin ribbon into two equal lengths and braid it into the holes of row 17.
