Hi Maria

I've just arrived at my new university in Bristol, in the UK. I am studying here for a year as a foreign student. Lots of young people go abroad to study, but it's not easy. When you become a student - in your own country or abroad - the thing that you notice most 1 ____________. It was so good before when my mum cooked for me and my dad drove me to school. Life was easy! As a student, I'm now living in a small room in a hall of residence. I have to 2 ____________, do the shopping, cooking and washing up. It's even more difficult when you have to do this in another country. I have had to learn how to do the shopping in English!
