1. T writes the word advice on the board. In pairs, Ss have 3 minutes to make as many words as they can from the letters of advice. T finds which pair wrote the most words and elicit the words and note them on the board.

2. Ss read the chats and choose the correct answers. T asks Ss to compare answers in pairs. Oral check.

3. Ss complete the Grammar Box. T checks the answers as a class. T asks Ss to read the chats again and match. Oral check.

T gets Ss to complete the sentences using the correct verb form. Ss compare answers in pairs. Check as a whole class.

4. Pronunciation. T plays the CD and read the sentences aloud; Ss repeat. Drill pronunciation.

6. Listen. T tells Ss they are going to hear a radio interview and gives them enough time to read the sentences before they start listening. T plays the CD, Ss tick the correct name.
