CANDIDATE'S ROLE

The examiner is a friend of yours.

You are talking to him/her about the new flat you've rented.

• flat - not OK - say why

• owner - no help

• another flat - no! - say why

• accept examiner's offer - express enthusiasm! / pay? - how much?

• three months - OK

The examiner begins by saying:

“Are you comfortable in the new flat?”

EXAMINER'S ROLE

The candidate is a friend of yours.

Talk to him her about the new flat he/she has rented.

• suggest candidate should talk to owner

• rent another flat?

• you're leaving the country in three months, candidate can live in your flat for a year

• no payment / just the bills / ask if candidate can wait for three months

• ask candidate to water the plants and look after your cat

You begin by saying:

“Are you comfortable in the new flat?”

2. Did you like the place where you lived as a child? Why? Why not?

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in the city centre?

4. What do you think about young adults living with their parents?
