CANDIDATE'S ROLE

You have just come to a new unit abroad.

The examiner is a soldier you've just met.

• introduce yourself

• answer examiner's questions

• ask about: food in unit / shops, attractions in town

• restaurant - what cuisine? / suggest going there together

• accept invitation, arrange time, place

The examiner begins by saying:

“Hello, you're new here, aren't you?”

EXAMINER'S ROLE

You've been on a military mission abroad for a few months now.

The candidate has just arrived in your unit.

• when come to base? / what do in last post?

• food in unit - nothing special / shops and good restaurant in town

• restaurant - OK, you're going there today with 3 other soldiers / invite candidate

• wish candidate luck on a new mission

You begin by saying:

“Hello, you're new here, aren't you?”

2. Tell us about the most difficult task you have ever done at work.

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a soldier?

4. What do you think about Polish people working abroad?
