British weather

It is said that the number one topic of British talks is the weather. It is true that the British often talk about the weather, complaining about unexpected snowfalls, rains and fogs. Interestingly, British winter is not particularly cold, nor is British summer particularly hot. And yet the British consider their weather to be exceptionally capricious. All of this may be attributed to the geographical location of the island, which makes every day bring different weather conditions, providing at the same time new topics for discussions.
