SAFETY RULES WORK AT HEIGHT:
1 Condition of health / medical research:
- work up to 3m,
- work at height without limit,
^^ is issued for 2-3 years, and after 50 years of age every year,
2. Health and Safety training:
- General instruction
- Job Training
- Supplementary Training - Work at height PEM
3. Protective equipment against falls from a height:
- Without the CE mark - not required to meet minimum requirements (eg. part of clothes) - Not applicable SOI
- The CE mark - European Certificate - confirmation of compliance by the manufacturer
- CE - the number of notified body (eg. 02 128) - for products that must be tested.

- Standard - PN-EN Standard harmonized with new approach directives, provides detailed
guidelines about Design and Research
4. Work in at least two people:
- two people with similar skills (rescue)
- having the equipment to evacuate
- eye contact and voice.
- employees should be familiar with emergency procedures.
5. The employee has been trained by a representative of the employer at the workplace
(specific training).
6. An employee acquainted with factory manual and working instructions.
7. Technical condition of the object:
- must pass an annual technical inspection.
- the structural strength point minimum of 10 kN according to PN-EN 795
- Plate at assurance systems.
8. Protective equipment against falls:
- Personal protective equipment should be adjusted to the job
- Work equipment should allow the evacuation of workers in case of danger.
9. Roof:
- flat up to 20 percent (a decrease of 20 cm to 1 meter) we do the belay only 2m from the edge.
- steep - above 20%- assurance at every point on the roof (start rigging from the roof hatch)
- a roof with attics higher than 1.5 meters - this is not work at heights.
10. Collective protection equipment :
* Railing:
- 110 cm. height, marginal strip of 10 cm., and the crossbar in the middle, (while moving our
hands out of the barriers we have to use belay/assurance - i think is same ;) ).
* Protective Baskets (zaplecznik) :
- if the arc is not larger than 80 cm. and the distance between the arches is up to 150 cm., and the
vertical bars is every 30 cm .
* Assurance is recommended but not required ;)

13. The area adjacent to the site of work at height should be marked:
- PLATE informing about working at height,
- Separation of land threatened by falling objects: 1/10 of building height, not less than 6m
- Leaving one worker, whose task will be management of traffic and additional protection of
dangerous places.
