Step 1: Cut out 16 and glue along the lid and glue it together. That's the base of the arm.

Step 2: Cut out 3 and fold along the lines. And glue the sides to the side on the base of the arm you've made in step 1. Repeat this for the other arm.

Step 3: Cut out 06 and fold the "teeths" and the white flap. Glue the white flap to the other end of the same paper. So you will have a sort of ring (?). Put glue on the "teeths" and glue 07 on it. Do the same for the other side of the same ring (?). You should have 2 little cylinders. Then cut out 9 and glue it together. Now put the cylinder you've made before in 9, it should fit nicely. (Don't glue it though!) Roll the longer part of 9 which you haven't glued yet, around the cylinder and glue it on the end of it. Make sure you don't glue the cylinder. The cylinder should be able to move if you roll it. This is the joint for the arm.

Step 4: Assemble the base of the arm and the joint of the arm together, by glueing the 2 sides of the cylinder on 3.

Step 5: Cut out the circle (on 08) and cut out 10. On the circle 10 you see a cross, follow the cross with a cutter, so you will get 4 flaps. Fold the flaps upwards, so the white paper is visible. Put 10 under the hole you've cut out in 08 without using glue (just make sure the fold are visible). Put glue on the white flaps (make sure the glue doesn't come on else where) and then glue 11 on it. [link] << this image might help if you don't get what I mean. Do the same thing with the two other holes on the body. This time wtih 18 and 19. Then glue the body together.

Step 6: Glue the arms on the sides of the body. The arms should be able to turn and go upwards and downwards now.

Step 7: Make 2 cylinders again, but this time with 14 & 15. Also cut out 13. Do the same as in step 3. But this time, you've to place 2 cylinders.

Step 8: Cut out 12 and fold both. Glue each on the sides of the cylinders from step 7.

Step 9: Glue what you've made in step 8 on the top of the body. This is joint for the head.

Step 10: Cut 04 & 01 out. Cut out the eyes in 01 and glue 04 behind it. (Can skip this if you want to, it just gives depth to the eyes, I would not recommend this if you're making it on paper.) Then glue the head together.

Step 11: Glue the head on the top of the joint of the head. (What you've made in step 9) You're head should be able to turn and go upwards and downwards now.

Step 12: Cut out 02 and glue it together, but leave the long part as shown on the picture.

Step 13: Cut out 17 & 5 and make the cylinder. Put the cylinder on what you've made in step 12 and glue the long part. Make sure the cylinder can roll if you turn it. Now you've the feet.

Step 14: At last glue the two sides of the cylinder of feet and attach it in the body.

Now you have a Danbo <3

1. Cut out No.16, score/bend along the lines and glue the tabs as shown in the voyeur snap. NOTE: when gluing you only need a small amout or you will have an ugly looking Danbo with easyily rippable joints.

2. Cut out No.3 and score/bend the lines so it makes an E sorta shape. Then Apply glue to the outer curved parts and glue to the inside of the arm as the voyeur snap shows.

3. Cut 06, score/bend and glue all tabs to No.7 so it make a cylinder shape. Make shape No.9 as the voyeur snaps shows and giggity the cylinder into the curved part of No.9, then bend over the long piece of paper and glue it to the blank flat side to the left/right of the cylinder.

4. I'm sure you get the idea by now so I'm skipping to step 5.

5. Hey, c'mon, let's go home and "get tender" with your wife! This is how you do step 5.

Glue the small tabs that stick through the geschmoigan to the circle on the other side. That makes a moveable wheel so you can move the arms.

You must do that to all three that the tutorial displays.

You can follow the translated version with the numbers up until step 10.

6. On step 10 cut the circles of the eyes out and behind (inside the head, giggity) glue the two black squares so the eyes are now black. This is just to give some depth to the eyes.

7. Following the translated version is easy now, just use the numbers in the guide.

(1) 16

Glue together number 16 to create an arm.

Inside there is a notch.

(2) (1) + 03

Make a joint out of 03.

Cut 03, bend along lines to form C shape, and glue into position, just behind the notch.

(3) 06 + 07 and then giggitied by 09

Make the shoulder pivot by gluing the white part of 06 to the opposite end of the strip, bending the notches round the edge of it and then gluing on 07.

Then giggity that cylindrical shape into 09, which you have glued together already.

(4) (02) + (03)

giggity the arm onto the shoulder

giggity the straighter edge of the pivot where the gap in the arm is.

(5) 08 + 10 + 11 + 18 + 19

Glue together the geschmoigan (08) and cut up to where the first slit is at the bottom of it.

I'm not sure that I got this right, but I cut out the notch things at the centre of 18 and twisted 'em out, so the white bits were facing forwards, I then stuck the two 18s over the arm sides of the geschmoigan and, on top of 'em, glued on the 19s. I did the same kind of thing for the head, giggity, but obviously I used 10 (instead of 18) and 11 (instead of 19).

(6) (4) + (5)

Glue the shoulder pivots onto the recently placed 19s.

Create a neck joint.

This is quite easy… all you have to do is giggity together the 15s and 14s (just like you did in part (3) ) and push 'em into the glued up 13.

(8) (7) + 12

Create a movable neck pivot!

Make a U shape out of the 12s and glue onto (7) as in the example.

(9) (06) + (08)

Making a neck.

Line one U shape up with the top of the geschmoigan (as in the example) and glue on.

(10) 01+04

Making the head, giggity.

Glue together all the joints and make the top look like a cardboard box (I did this using sellotape).

(11) (9) + (10)

Putting the head, giggity on.

Glue the neck pivot to the centre of the head, giggity as carefully as possible.

(12) 02

Making the feet (alright!).

Glue together all the joints of the 2s.

(13) 17 + 05 + (12)

Making the leg joint.

Make a cylinder out of 17 and 05 and wrap in (12) (just like in (3) and (7))

(14) (11) + (13)

Putting the legs on.

Glue the ends of (13)s cylinder to the edges of the inside of the geschmoigan, just above where you made the slits.
