1. Shipboard Organisation
This part of the Emergency Response Manual is very important because it contains all necessary information for the communication, specially between vessel and company. It can be found here:
List of company related addresses and phone numbers. This list is submitted by the company and is subject to revisions. The latest revision must be available.
Organisation chart shorebased management, subject to revision by the company
List of charterer or cargo related addresses and phone numbers, if any. This list is subject to revisions by the charterer. It will be supplied from vessel to company.
List of addresses and phone numbers (terminal, fire brigade, police, coast guard, harbourmaster, agent, etc.) related to the vessel's trade. This list is submitted by the shipboard management and subject to revisions. A copy of this list for each port is to be sent to the company.
Emergency phone number of the company. Using this connection, the vessel can alert the Fleet Manager at any time.
2. Shorebased Organisation
The shorebased copy of the Emergency Response Manual on principle contains any information contained in the shipboard copies of the Emergency Response Manual. Revisions must be conducted here as well.
