WORKSHEET NUMBER FOUR
FEELING FRUSTRATED?
Talk about it with other learners! Then write down here all the amazing things you plan to do when you have gotten through this initial frustrating stage and are more comfortable to communicate with people. You will still be making mistakes, but speaking will be more natural to you very soon if you keep up a high level of commitment!!
Write down what you plan to do as soon as possible in the language, and stay focused on those goals. (e.g. I am going to be able to travel to Italy and attend an opera! I will be ready to get to know natives much deeper in their own language! I will be able to casually read a book in the language and understand most of the content!)
Keeping the end-goal in mind, rather than being focused on the negativity of frustration, will ultimately get you through this stage.
