I am writing to apply for the position of a journalist advertised in the latest issue of ‘Gazeta Praca’.

As outlined in the enclosed curriculum vitae, after graduating from the I High School in Wieliczka and completing a matura exam I started studying journalism at Warsaw University. Presently I am a third-year student.

Moreover, I attended courses, which can be very useful for the offered job. Firstly, I have successfully completed ‘Creative Writing’ – lessons about different methods of writing. I have also had an opportunity to improve my English and Chinese as I attended classes in Foreign Language School.

Since 2014 I have participated in the cultural life of Wieliczka. My experience includes working as a translator during an annual international festival called ‘Odloty’. Additionally, I was also a reporter of Zbigniew Beksiński, a famous Polish artist, exhibition.

I believe I would be an ideal candidate for this position. I am an open, fair-minded person, linked with different areas of culture. As a multilingual, hard-working and responsible student I am keen on continuing working in this field.
