Adolescence in the unhappiest time in most people lives

I disagree with the sentence above, because in my opinion adolescence is the most pleasant and happiest time in people’s live. When we growing up we start to understand the world and make relationships with others, everyone chooses his/her own way of life, it’s the best time, so why everyone think that that is the unhappiest time? Of course it can be difficult to growing up, first time broken heart, an argument with best friend, problems in home, lack of acceptation are the “little things” which make us down, but always there’s sun after storm, somebody lend us a hand, we fall in love, this dreamed girl/boy says that she/he feel a butterflies in a stomach when we meet, and your live can’t be sad, it’s just impossible.

When we are in a process of becoming an adult we can afford for so many things that are unacceptable and “strictly forbidden” when we are full-grown such as being drunk, making crazy things, pulling friend’s legs, going on concerts, to discos, pubs and etc. When we are old our life become very serious and gray. And I think that it may be this “the unhappiest time in most people life. Youth rule it’s own laws, almost everything is acceptable because you always have got an excuse: “I’m young, so I could make a mistake.”

Of course when you are growing up you are dreaming about being old, because you might think that you can be free, it’s a pure nonsense, especially when you are old, you have to obey time tables and a lot of senseless rules. There’s no place for any rebellion.

So If I were in your shoes I would stop saying that adolescence is so sad period in your life, and do something creative, swimming naked in the ocean in the midnight, go on hitchhiking tour or just go to pub or club with friends and chill of.
