Phones (sounds): l, dark l, voiceless l, p, aspirated p, b, voiceless b.

Allophones are phones which comes from one basic phoneme.

Ways to carry out phonemic analysis: minimal pair (find if you can put two phones together at the same time) and complementary distribution.

[ᶆ] / _^v_f this shows that ᶆ is an allophone, because /v/ and /f/ are labio-dental as well as / ᶆ/, you can suspect that is is not the basic form;

[ᶇ] / there isn’t # ᶇ_ or V ᶇV or VV ᶇ but V ᶇ_k^g V gᴓ / ᶇ_ ᶇg ᶇ/_#

V ᶇ V never occur, as long as it is whole the basis of the word, without suffix.
