First you will need to create a MySQL database on your server for iHost to use.
- Next open the file /ihost/includes/config.php in a text editor such as notepad.

"database_username"; (this is your database username usually prefixed by your cpanel username)

"database_password"; (this is your database username password)

"database_name"; (this is your database name usually prefixed by your cpanel username)

"admin_username"; (you will log into administration using this username)
$apw =
"admin_password"; (you will log into administration using this password)
$ae =
"you@youremail.com"; (enter your email address)
- Next upload the /ihost/ directory somwhere within your servers public_html (or equivilant) folder.
- Next open your browser and visit : http://www.yourdomain.com/ihost/install/ iHost will install and you will be prompted for a username and password to log into your iHost administration area.
- Delete the file /install/index.php
- Now logged into the iHost administration area, click "Configuration" under the "Setup" menu and configure iHost to your server. (click the helper icons in iHost for additional assistance)
- Next click "Payment Gateways" under "Setup" and complete to your preference.
- Next click "Email Editor" under "Setup" and complete to your preference. You must click "Apply" once, even if you do not change our default values.
You are done with setup, you may now begin using iHost.
