Body language
By means of motions (gesty) performed (wykonywane) by our hands, faces, arms, legs, lips... in total all our bodys, we can send a lot of different informations. We'll be talking about barriers of legs (bariery nóg) and hands, about motions of hands, arms and faces, about signals giving by eyes and other things.
Barriers of legs
Cross legs
By crossing our legs we're informating interlocutor (rozmówca) we are nervous, incredolous (nieufny) or negative attitude (negatywnie nastawieni) for him. It means defensive attitude too.
Cross legs with arms
People who are using this motion show their disapproval (dezaprobata), they want stop conversation. It also mean they have to sit by long time on something uncomfortable.
Four American
Four American show that people who are using this motion are stubborn (uparty). It tells us we should be ready for quarrel (kłótnia) or competition (współzawodnictwo).
Crossing legs in knuckles by men
Crossing legs in this way mean “Closing mouths” (zamykanie ust). Men who are using this motion show they are stubborn and they won't let us for victory with them.
Barriers of hands
Crossing hands on chest
When we're crossing our hands on chest we're trying protect ourselfs ahead enemy action (wrogie działanie) or unexpected reaction (niespodziewana reakcja).
When you'll see crossing hands on chest while meeting it means you're interlocutor disagrees with you or he's unfriendly.
Holding elbow
It means nervous or embarrassed (zakłopotany) or just uncomfortable. People often are using this while public occurrences (publiczne wystąpienia).
Motions of hands
Open attitude
It means we're honest (szczerość). If we're laying our hands inside on top (wnętrze do góry) we're showing our submissive (uległość). But if we're laying our hands inside to bottom (wnętrzem do dołu) we're showing domination (dominacja).
Handshakes
Handshakes are very important. First, when we're holding inside our hands on top we're showing submissive and we're open for other people. They can know we're ready for conversation or helping them.
Second, when we're holding inside our hands to bottom we're showing domination. Other people should be ready for your commands (polecenia).
Third, can mean two things. If we have loose hand and draw it to other people it can means we're open, we're offering help. But if our hand is rigid (sztywna), inside of hand to bottom, it can means our domination.
Point (at somebody or something)
to direct one's finger or the like (ar ot to something)
to call atention or allude (wspomnieć) to something; hint (wskazać) at something
Give a high five
To hit my hand on hand other person. If the football players win the match, on the end of match everyone give a high five mutually (wzajemnie). It means winner or joy (radość), something like congratulations.
Cover mouth with hand
To put hand on mouth, to speak something wrong. If we want silence somebody we can cover (zasłonić) mouth with hand.
Motions of eyes
“Parlance (mowa) can hide the truth, but eyes never”
Eye contact
Eye contact is essiential (podstawowy) condition (warunek) conversation. Good eye contact it's not gaze at somebody (gapienie się na kogoś). After 3 seconds we can lower eyes (oderwać wzrok) and look at somethink else - lips, figure second person.
But if sb is watching second person and it's intense (intensywne) it can means he's interested second person.
Look away
If our interlocutor doesn't look into our eyes, it can means he's:
awkwardness (skrępowanie)
shame (wstyd)
insincere (nieszczery)
But if our interlocutor is looking around it can means he's bored.
Glossy eyes
Glossy eyes means joy, satisfaction or excitement (ekscytacja).
Somethimes we can have glossy eyes because of tears - then we're sad and want crying.

Nod/lift head
to agree withg point of view
to show respect when we're meeting with sb
to show friendly relations
Keeping head
Keeping head it's sign of tired or bored. We're “holding” our head because without it we'll sleep.
Shaking head
When we're shaking head we're showing dissatisfaction (niezadowolenie) or not agree with sb or sth.
Other motions
Kisses
kiss on the forehead - means parental relationships (rodzicielskie relacje); person who's kissing is very protective (opiekuńczy) and careful (troskliwy) for second person. When we're kissing sb on the forehead we're showing our loyalty (oddanie) and giving uplift (otucha)
kiss on the cheak - means seal (przypieczętowanie) friendship. Shows loyalty (lojalność), kindness (żywliczość) and closeness (bliskość).
Send kiss in the air - means our thoughts are far away form person for who we're sending those kiss
Hug
When we're hold closely, embrance tightly and affectionately (obejmujemy kogoś mocno, czule, ciasno) we're giving support (wsparcie). We're showing we are ready to help. Second person knows can consist (polegać) on us.
