Foundation: Using the wool yarn. ch 170, tum.

Row 1: Ch 3. dc in 4th ch from hk and ea ch across, turn - 170 dc.

Row 2-4: Ch 3. dc in ea st across, turn.

Row 5: Change to multicolored novelty yarn, ch 3, dc in ea st across, turn.

Row 6: Ch 3, dc in ea st, or between ea st across, turn.

Row 7: Change to wool yarn, ch 3, dc in ea st, or between ea st, across, turn.

Row 8-10: Ch 3, dc in ea st across, turn.

Rep rows 5-10, working the next rep with multicolored novelty yarn, then following the color sequence below 3 times, working only 2 reps of multicolored novelty yarn on the last rep.
