STARCU ING ; Coycr cardboard piece with waxpaper. tape firmly in place. Cover smaller funnel with saranwrap, tape in place inside funnel (the saranwrap will prevent the starch from sticking to the lunneli. Wash pieccscarefully in Woolite, rinse well. biot gently in Turkish toweJ to dry (do not wring). Slip skirt over funnel. stretch to covcr bonom of funnel. arrange skirt and pin it to cardboard. Brush skin wilh starch, making surę it penetrates dcep into the stitchcs. Place head and body onto spout, stretch. brush both with starch same as skirt. Lift peplum. starch and shape. Soak arms with starch. give them desired shape. Pin halo and wings to cardboard. shape each as per diagram, soak with starch. When starch begins to stiflen. turn picces over gently to prevent clogging of openwork. AIlow all picces to dry completcly. remove funnel. carelully liii saranwrap olT the picces. If any starch residue remains. brush ił away gently from inside. using an old loollibrush Now starch and shape halo Chain so thal it is at right angle to halo

■iSSF.MM.K : Glue body to skin and allow to dry. Glue wings in płaco at center of back. Glue bottom of halo Chain to back of hcad.
