It is the ability to sympathize with others and understand their feelings and ideas. It is the basis of efficient communication and inherent feature of great negotiators. Even three year old children develop the ability to sympathize with others, however this trait may fade away. Tyrant and aggressor are not bad people. They simply cannot understand other people. Thanks to empathy, it is easier not to be influenced by others and keep own views, because people with empathy are able to notice the difference between themselves and interlocutors.

People fuli of empathy are successful in their work, which is strongly emphasised by Stephen R. Covey, the author of the book titled “Rules of efficient leadership". Such people do not aim at success at any cost but they respect other people which is very beneficial.
