He&rlng Traffic Armouncements via HDS-EON

Depress key [TP] © . The symbol "fTP/" Is displayed. When a traffic announcement is gtven, the radio unii will switch overlo a tralfic radio transmitter which is in the EON network.

Aftar the announcement, ttie unit will reverr to the radio gtation prewiously heard,

During the traffic announcement. the des-ignatian of the radio station is shown on the display.

The RDS*EON function isalso in operation during CD play-back itthe traffic radio (TP) has b ©en act/vale<J.

Radio Station Keys

There are memory slots available for a tolat of 30 radio stallons:

6 x U (VHF)

6xM (MW)

6 x L (LW)

6 x U AS (VHF. aetomatic storage}

6 x U AS (MW. automatic storage]

Memorize Radio Station

•    Selcct desired wayeband.

•    Tune to desired radio station.

■ Keep one of the radio station keys depressed [1] to [6] O until tho radio station selected can be heard again, During the searcłi, the radio station is displayed which was previously stored and allocated to łhat key,

Automatic Storage of Radio Stations

*    Sclect desired wavelen0th.

*    Keep [AS] © key depressed until the confirmation signal is given,

The radio station search commences and the symbol ⁿAS^Mis shown on the display. After the search has been completed, &« ot the strongest transmitters in that waveband are stored. They are allocated to the AS memory slois of the radio station keys.

RDS transmitters will automatically be pre* ferenlialty stored and allocated to the first memory slots.

When the traffic radio function (TP) is tum’ ed on cithcr before or during automatic storage of radio stations, the unit will recall a memory Slot wlth a stored traffic radio transmitter (not necessarily memory slot 1).

The radio station set is Uius Stored and allocated to this radio station key. The memory slot selected is shown on Ihe display.
