Christmas envelopes

To make a special envelope tor a handmade card or fiat present. you‘II need to spend a little money and time ... but It will look superb when ifs finished!

You’11 need:

Christmassy wrapplng paper Lace edging Fine ribbon

1. Work out how big your finished envelope needs to be. There's nothing worse than tinding out afterwards that if needed to be a little bit bigger!

3. Fold it into three. Fold down the flap at one end and the corners to the middle at the other. Glue along the sides as

2. Your paper will need to be three times the size ot the finished envelope — look at the diagram to see how to mark it out. You'll need a little extra on each long side tor glueing, and along one short side to fold over for neatness and strength.

4. Glue lace around the wrong side ot the pointed end. Make two tiny holes through the pointed flap and one layer ot the envelope and push the ribbon through it. Unthread the pointed flap to fili the envelope, then thread and tle into a bow to secure the contents.
