Picot Coronet Stitch

(add 3 for base Chain)

Work 1 row each with colors A and B alter-nately throughout; fasten off each color at end of each row.

1st row (right side): Skip 3ch (count as 1dc), 1 dc mto next ch. work a picot of 13ch, insert hook down through top of dc just madę and work a sl st to close], 2dc into same ch. ‘skip 6ch, work a Coronet of I3dc, picot, 1 ch. 1 dc. picot, 2dc] into next ch; rep from * to last 7ch, skip 6ch, [3dc. picot. 1 dc] into last ch, turn.

2nd row: 3ch (count as 1dc), 1dc into first st, * 3ch. work a picot V st of 11 dc. picot, 1 dej into 1ch sp at center of next Coronet; rep from * ending 3ch, 2dc into top of tch, turn. 3rd row: 2ch (count as 1 hdc), skip first 2 sts, ‘Coronet into next 3ch sp, skip next picot

V    st; rep from * ending Coronet into last sp, 1hdc into top of tch, turn.

4th row: 4ch (count as 1 dc and 1ch), ‘picot

Commence Pattern

Change to B and rep the 2nd base row twice.

Change to C and rep the 2nd base row 4 times.

7th row: Using B. 1 ch, 1 sc into each of first 3 sts, " (1 dtr/rf round st corresponding to next st 5 rows below, i.e. last row worked in B] twice. 1 sc mto each of next 4 sts. Work 1 row each in colors A, B and C alter-nately throughout.
