In 2004,120 young people between the ages of fourteen and seventeen

from ten European ¹_

(including Poland and the UK) met in Berlin at the first Youth Eco Parliament. Before going to

Berlin, they madę plans for improving the ¹_in their

own towns and villages. They focused on areas like

recycling, saving^{1 2 3}__and reducing pollution After

that they went to Berlin and discussed their plans. Then

they wrote ⁴_giving ideas for improving the

environment, locally, nationally and globally. Here are some of the things they think we should do:
