Special Precautions

Removal instaiiation

1.    tnsure timing marKs angned [bj E [/].

2.    Fit timing belt in following order:

o Crankshaft sprocket. o Water pump sprocket. o Tensioner pulley. o Camshaft sprocket.

NOTĘ: Ensure belt istaut hetween sprockets on non-tensioned side.

3.    Remove locking pin [13].

4.    Remove nut, washer and stud [11 ] & [12].

5.    Tum crankshaft two turns clockwise.

6.    Ensure timing marks aligned [6] & [7],

7.    Install:

o Timing belt lower cover [10]. o Crankshaft pulley [9]. o Crankshaft pulley bolts [8]. o Timing belt centre cover [4]. o Engine mounting bracket [3].

8.    Tighten crankshaft pulley bolts [8], Tightening torque:

o 8.8 = 10 Nm + 90° Use new bolts. o 10.9 = 40 Nm.

9.    Tighten engine mounting bracket bolts [14]. Tightening torque: 45 Nm.

10.    Fit and align RH engine mounting [2].

o Engine mounting clearance: 13 mm [18].

o Ensure engine mounting bolts [17] aligned with edge of mounting [19].

11.    Tighten:

o Engine mounting bolts [15]. Tightening torque: 40 Nm + 90". Use new bolts. o Engine mounting bolts [16]. Tightening torque: 25 Nm. o Engine mounting bolts [17]. Tightening torque: 60 Nm +90⁰.
