Mark lines on the surface using the back of a knife. Model two teardrop shapes for his 'ha:r' on top of his head. Using I5g <’Aoz) of the black modeilmg pastę, shape two eyebrows and his nose. Stick aii of these into position
Co&ur 15g (V.oz) of the modeli ng pastÄ™ pale golden brown using brown with a touch of orange. Roli just over half into a sausage for the mallet handte and scratch lines into it with a cocktail stick to mark a wood gram effect.
Colour ihe remaimng sugarpaste pale golden brown as in step 12 Roli out 60g <2oz). add a Iittie morę buttereream to one end of the mallet and position the mallet down onto the pasie and cut around it so that the mallet is neatty covered. Colour I40g (4’Aoz) of the modeilmg pastę deep golden brown using brown and orange food coiouring pastę. Model a bail-shaped head using 75g (2V.oz) of the pastę and a te3rdrop-shaped body with 22g (J/«oz) of it Stick the body and head in place on top of the mallet. using a foam piece to support Jerry‘s head at the chin area
To make Jerry’s muzzie. first press a liny flattened piece of black modeilmg pasto onto the mouth area to create the shadow. Cotour a minutę amount of modeilmg pastę red and shape a flattened bali to make his tongue Using the remaimng pale golden brown modeilmg pastę, roli a sausage shape. rolling mere in the centre to narrew. and round eff each end Stick this onto Jerry s face. outlmmg the mouth and making a V shape. Model two teardrop shapes for the muzzie and smooth mto place Mark holes with a cocktail stick.
With pea-sized amounts of white modeHing pastę, shape two ovats for Jerry’s eyes and stick them in place. Edge each eye with a teardrop shape madę from a pea-sized amcunt of deep golden brown pastę.
