5Cok>ur 70g (2'/«oz) of the model ling pastÄ™ grey using a touch of black food colounng pastÄ™. To shape Bugs Bunny’s head. roli 30g (1oz) of the pastÄ™ into a bali and pinch from the centre to the top to narrow it until the top of the head is guite high Push m a cocktail stick (toothpok) on the underside to create a hole for the sugar stick or length of raw. dried spaghetti to go into later. remove the cocktail stick and pot the head aside to dry.

6 Model Bugs Bunny‘s body and arms in one piece usmg 22g (%QZ) of the grey modellmg pastÄ™. Start with a smali sausage and roli both ends to lengthen and puB out the arms. Pmch up a neck at the centre. creatmg smali dips either side to round the shooiders Bend each arm halfway up and pinch gentiy to create eifcows. Press at the front to flatten the chest area a little and slot into place on the top of the cake, securing with sugar glue.

7 Push a sugar stick down through the neck. leaving at least 2cm (Y.m) protruding from the top to help hoÅ‚d Bugs Bunny s head in place later. With a smali piece of white modellmg pastÄ™, shape the patch for hrs neck and then stick it in place

8 Split just over 7g ('Aoz) of the white modellmg pastÄ™ m half and use it to make the Å‚wo hands To make the hand holding the carrot. first model a smali ban for the cuff and press mto the centre with the smali end of the bali or bonÄ™ tool Stick the fiat side of this onto the end of his arm For the actual hand. form a teardrop shape and press it slightiy fiat Make a cut over to cne side for the thumb. and then cut twice along the top to separate the fmgers. Pmch gentiy to remove the ridges and then round off the tip of each fmger. Press mto the palm to round off the hand. bend it into position and stick it in pace as soon as U is madÄ™. supportmg it with a foam piece untii it is completely dry. Break off the lip of one carrot and wrap the fingers around it. Make the cther cuff and hand in exactty the same way and then position as shown in the firushed pcture. palm up with the thumb bent upwards.

9 To make the white mouÅ‚h area. model a sausage usmg 7g ('/â– oz) of the white modellmg pastÄ™ and press it llat Stick this onto the base of Bugs Bunny's head. smoothing it up and around the sides. Push down at the nose to create a dip and pinch down gentiy at the chm. To create fur. shape smali, flattened teardrop shapes and stick them over the top cf the mouth area. buiidmg up little by little.
