Cul out cream pasto to covor sllghtly highor than the sldes ot Ute picmc baskot. marking it all with criss-cross pattoms.

5Cotour 41 Og (13oz) of the sugarpaste dark green usmg green food

colouring pastÄ™ with a tcuch of black, RoiÅ‚ out and cover the whole of the ranger. smoothmg around the shape. Tnm away the excess from around the base to reveai the black strip underneath.

5Cotour 90g (3oz) of the sugarpaste dark brown. Roli out and cut two thick oblong shapes. one measunng 4 x I0cm (1V? x 4«n) for the seat back and the other 2.5 x lOcm (1 x 4in) for the seat itself Stick the seat back in place first. smoothmg it around, and then the seat

7Colour 185g (6oz) of the sugarpaste dark grey Split this mto four pieces and shape them mto flattened circles to make the wheels. Stick them in place with a littie sugar glue. making surÄ™ that the back two wheels overiap the back and stick out a fraction.

8Colour 75g (2'hoz) of the modeliing pastÄ™ dark green. Rcfl out I5g ('/.oz) of this and cut an obiong measunng 8 x 2.5cm (37: x 1m). To make the windscreen. cut out the inside to make a frame and then put it aside to dry. Measure along the top of the ranger and press in each side to create an mdeni for the windscreen. to slot mto later.

9 To make the steermg wheel. first cotour 15g ('toz) of the modelimg pastÄ™ black. Roli haif cf it into a bali and press it fiat. Cut out circles around the edge usmg the miniaturÄ™ circle cutter. Stick a smal!, flattened bali on the centre then put it aside to dry.

d A To decorate the ranger use 60g (2oz) of the dark green mcdelimg pastÄ™.

I U Roli out and cut two long strips to edge along the sides, snckmg them abcve each wheel. Roli out and cut two morÄ™ slighlfy thinner strips and stick them along the bottom of the prewous strips

I I trimmmgs and mark a criss-cross pattern on it with a knife. pressmg gently so the knife dces not cu! through the pastÄ™. Cut two morÄ™ thin strips to edge the gnile at the top and bottom Cut a long strip to edge the wmdscrecn area and trim a further strip into a point at one enc to go on the tep of the bonnet. Model two flattened circles for side lights

Cut two steps. markmg a criss-cross pattern as before. Model s>x balls ar.d press each fiat. and then stick two on the front of the ranger for lights. Use the remaining four for the hubcaps.
