Maltose

Important facts about disaccharides:

Sucrose consists ot glucose bonded to fructose. Another name for sucrose is table sugar. Sucrose is often added to foods to make them sweet.

— Maltose consists of glucose bonded to glucose. Very few foods contain maltose.

Lactose consists of glucose bonded to galactose. Another name for lactose is milk sugar. Lactose is found in milk and most other products madę from milk.
